Custom apps for construction companies that have outgrown spreadsheets and group chats

Off-the-shelf construction software is great until it isn’t. You pay for fifty features, use five, and still keep a spreadsheet on the side because it doesn’t handle the one thing your business does differently. We build focused apps around how your crews, office and clients actually work.

✦ Where it hurts ✦

Signs your company needs its own app

01

Site reports on paper

Daily logs, photos and incident notes end up in a truck cab, a camera roll and someone’s inbox. Finding them later is a nightmare.

02

Timesheets by text

Crews message hours at the end of the week, the office re-types them, and payroll still has mistakes.

03

Quotes that take days

Every estimate is rebuilt from an old spreadsheet, so a simple quote takes a day and two people price the same job differently.

04

Clients chasing updates

Owners call the PM for progress because there’s nowhere to see it themselves.

✦ Things we build ✦

Common construction apps we build

  • Field crew app

Clock in and out by site, log materials, upload photos and complete checklists, even with weak signal.

  • Daily report generator

Weather, crew on site, work done and photos, turned into a tidy PDF for the client automatically.

  • Quote and estimate builder

Your rates and materials in one place, so a quote takes minutes and stays consistent.

  • Client portal

Progress photos, schedules, documents and invoices in one login for each client.

  • Safety and compliance

Toolbox talk sign-offs, inspections, incident reports and certificate expiry reminders.

  • Owner dashboard

Jobs, hours, costs and margins at a glance, pulled from the tools you already use.

✦ How we build ✦

Small first version, then grow it

  1. 1
    Week 1

    Site visit or call

We learn the workflow from the people who’ll use it: a PM, a site lead and someone from the office.

  2. 2
    Week 2

    Clickable prototype

You tap through the screens on your phone before any real code is written.

  3. 3
    Weeks 3–8

    Build in two-week sprints

Working features every two weeks, tested by your team on real jobs.

  4. 4
    Week 8 onward

    Launch and support

App Store and Google Play submission, training for crews and support after launch.

Build the one thing your crews will actually use. Then build the next.

A focused app that solves one real problem gets used. A giant system that tries to do everything usually gets abandoned by month three.

✦ FAQ ✦

Construction app questions

How much does a construction app cost to build?+

Our Starter App begins at $2,999 for a focused single-platform app, and the Business App at $5,999 covers iOS, Android, user accounts and a custom backend. Larger systems are quoted after we understand the workflow.

Should we build an app or use Procore or Buildertrend?+

If an existing tool fits your workflow, use it. Custom apps make sense when you keep working around a tool’s limits, need something it doesn’t do, or want to connect several tools into one simple screen for crews.

Will the app work offline on job sites?+

It can. We design field apps to save data on the phone and sync when signal comes back, which matters on a lot of sites.

Can the app connect to our accounting software?+

Usually, yes. Most accounting and payroll tools have APIs, and we connect to them during the build.

Got a workflow that drives you mad?

Tell us the one process you’d fix first. We’ll come back with how we’d build it, a rough timeline and a fixed price.
